Cirkul Backers - filling of our cartridges is scheduled to begin tomorrow! We sincerely apologize that it has taken us longer to get the filling process up and running than we expected. As we've mentioned we're using a contract filler to fill our cartridges. Unfortunately they were forced to shut down during Hurricane Irma. In addition, they have automated filling lines and equipment set up for standard containers such as plastic bottles. However, due to the unique design and the small size of our cartridge, we needed to have custom equipment built to allow our product to be safely and efficiently filled. This custom machinery has now been completed, and more importantly tested and debugged to ensure that it can run safely without injuring the operators or damaging the filling line.

 

As we’ve mentioned in some of our comments, no one is more excited to ship your orders than our team here at Cirkul. We can't wait to share this revolutionary product with you, especially as we continue to hear from our backers all the ways they plan to use Cirkul to customize their favorite drinks and hydrate more conveniently. Consequently we will be the first to admit that we tend to be optimistic rather than pessimistic, when it comes to how quickly we expect to ship. We understand the frustrations that come with delays because we feel them too, but we want to emphasize that we have manufactured or purchased all of the bottles, lids, flavor, cartridge parts, packaging, and shipping materials we need. It is a matter of when, not if, you will receive your Cirkul order and we are getting closer every day.

Cirkul Backers - we want to provide you with the latest update on our progress.

 

Our filler is currently aiming to start filling flavor cartridges early next week. Once they are underway, it will take them 2-3 days to complete all of our Indiegogo orders. We plan to be on site to see the completed cartridges coming off the filling line, and we will let you know as soon as filling is officially underway! 

 

Once all of the cartridges for Indiegogo orders are filled they will be shipped to our fulfillment partner who will pack the cartridges with bottles and lids and ship them out to our backers. Once your order ships, we'll email you tracking information for your order. We will be sure to keep you updated every step of the way.

 

Our team here at Cirkul can't wait to get all of our backers your Cirkul bottles and flavor cartridges, and we're doing everything we can to ship as quickly as possible. Cirkul Backers - thanks for all of your support and well wishes over the past two weeks. It is sincerely appreciated by our team.

 

Every supply chain has a bottle neck and ours is currently at our contract filler. All of the parts, packaging, and flavor for your Indiegogo orders have been produced, shipped, and are ready to be filled.

 

Unfortunately after Hurricane Irma, the factory was without power for almost two weeks. This was longer than most residents in Florida because the factory uses "three phase power" as opposed to the "single phase power" used in most residences. Because of the significant amount of downtime, our filler is still working to catch up on orders and hasn't given us a specific timeline for when our Indiegogo orders will be filled. The delay has been very frustrating for us, but we've tried to put ourselves in their shoes. They shut down their factory a few days ahead of Irma for the safety of their employees and to make preparations for the storm, were without power for two weeks, and then needed time after the storm to get their filling machines back on-line and running again. All the while, existing orders and new orders were stacking up.

 

Please be assured your product will be delivered. Everything needed for your orders has been manufactured, shipped, and delivered to our filler. We're doing everything we can to fulfill your orders as soon as possible, and spending many late nights ensuring that once you get your order, getting more cartridges will be a breeze. We know it is a small consolation, but we'll also be providing all of our Indiegogo backers with a discount code to be used for future orders once we launch our website, DrinkCirkul.com, next month.

Cirkul Backers – we’re working hard to start shipping as soon as possible. We wanted to share an update on timing for delivery of your orders. Hurricane Irma passed through Florida last weekend and brought considerable damage to parts of the state. Our flavor cartridge filling facility located in Daytona lost power and is still waiting for it to be restored. Thankfully everyone is safe, and the facility and our equipment received no damage.


We expect the power to come on early this week and are very thankful for the amazing efforts of those working to restore power to so many individuals in the state. We’re aiming to remain on track to start shipping orders at the end of this month. 

 

 

Here’s a few snapshots of your bottles safely in our warehouse, now we’re just waiting for cartridges to complete your orders and send them on the way! We will send another update immediately once we have information about expected shipping & delivery timing. We’ll also be sending emails with individual tracking information so that you can see exactly when your order will be arriving.


Thank you so much to everyone who reached out directly to check on us after the storm - it was truly amazing to see that sort of kindness.
